Inspection of theatrical scenes in the regions of Georgia / the trip of YTA Union/Georgian OISTAT National Center three-member delegation/Nino Gunia – Kuznetsova, Zurab  Nakashidze, Bekar Jumutia/  to Batumi and Poti / analysis of  plans and equipment and selection of best stage site for “La scala di seta” performance concept.
Working meetings with the Minister of Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, self-governments of Batumi and Poti devoted to the cultural networks  integration of the Black Sea countries  and organization of the international scenography and  performance biennale in Georgia.

PQ11 – Georgian Student Pavilion in the Contemporary Art Gallery, Prague, Czech Republic

Creation of pavilion and exhibition work process;
The official opening of the Prague Quadrennial;
Radio Prague interview with  Nina Gunia – Kuznetsova, Bekar Jumutia;
Presentations within the Prague Quadrennial;
Participation in the workshops organized by OISTAT (scenography, light design, costume design) (16.06-26.6) (master classes and workshops held at national pavilions of Spain, Finland, Japan, Poland) –  Tea Gelashvili, Sergei Shivts.
June 19 – 23  LIGHT AND SOUND PARTY – Shio Abrakhamia, Bekar Jumutia.

Exhibition of selected works at the academic theater of Ilia State University in the beginning of June.
Creation of Georgian Student Pavilion – concept development, design, site implementation.

Lives and works in Italy…
Dreams and creates in the virtual theater…

Manana Gunia, the Georgian set designer, ten years ago went for study to Florence, the town of her dreams (the scenography chair of Florence Academy of Art, the course of virtual scenography) and tied her creative work with the virtual theater.

She scored a first great success with her work created as far back in Tbilisi. This was the virtual setting and costumes for William Shakespeare’s play “The Tempest”: in 2002 at the International Competition of Artists in Florence “XX Premio Firenze” Centro Culturale Firenze-Europa “Mario Conti” she was awarded the Gold Medal in the nomination “Digital Arts & Multimedia”...
